What do we know

This is only a small part of the available knowledge:

  • Patients with psoriasis have dry skin, the cause of dry skin is cells that divide too actively, so the skin seems to grow in layers, while it is not nourished from the inside
  • The nail plates in patients with psoriasis become very thick and curved, and on the big toes they even reach a thickness of 1.5-2 cm
  • Due to dry skin in bad weather — cold in winter, the skin of the legs of people with psoriasis cracks, and every step causes pain, i.e. movement is difficult
  • Psoriasis is formed from small dots that gradually begin to grow in size and connect with each other, taking up more and more space on the skin, taking over all areas of clean skin, this is how skin neuroderma appears
  • Psoriasis is not a curable disease, because… it is inherited at the gene level — if a person’s parents had psoriasis, then it will manifest itself in the child
  • The use of hormonal ointments leads to disruption of the endocrine system — all organs stop working as they should
  • Due to increased dry skin, people cannot play sports, because… their skin has many cracks and any physical activity causes them pain
  • Despite all the horrors of psoriasis, psoriasis patients look 5-10 years younger than their peers — the reason for this phenomenon has not yet been discovered
